Yolla Co-Op is a farmer’s co-operative supplying a full range of rural merchandise and supplies to Tasmanian farmers. Formed in 1977 by a handful of farmers at Yolla in North West Tasmania, the Co-Op today serves some 1,600 members throughout Tasmania.
Yolla Co-op exists for the benefit of our members; each member is equally important to us. We’re not a large corporate or multinational company. We’re not trying to maximise profits for corporate investors and institutions, as in the case of many of our competitors. Owned by Tasmanian Farmers and proud of it!

Membership is open to primary producers. To ensure we meet legislative requirements, applicants are required to provide the Yolla Co-Op with certain information and declarations regarding their farming operations.
Membership with Yolla Co-Op entitles you to significant savings across the full range of rural supplies we provide. We use the combined purchasing power of our membership to offer significant savings on other goods and services, including fuel, insurance, automotive goods, etc.
Whilst anybody can shop at the Co-op, membership entitles you to very significant savings on every product across the full range of rural supplies. Members are eligible for a further 1% loyalty discount on their purchases if they pay within normal trading terms. At the discretion of the Board this discount can be increased depending upon the Co-op’s performance.
We also provide members with free & timely delivery on all orders over $800, in-store pickup on all orders, and access to bulk product orders, such as grain, fuel & fertiliser, which are all delivered to your farm. Members also have exclusive access to our certified agronomist who will meet you in-store or on farm to discuss all of your farming needs.
Membership costs $264.00 including GST per year.
Yes! We encourage members to be active in the workings of the Co-Op, to participate in our meetings and attend a number of social functions and get-togethers throughout the year, including annual dinners, open days, supplier days and barbeques. Many of the original members from the 1970s are still very much active in the day-to-day affairs of the Co-Op!
Members get updates on what’s happening at the Co-Op through regular newsletters or emails, early bird offers on product specials and annual reports. Members are also highly encouraged to attend our annual general members meeting where
Being a member of the Yolla Co-Op entitles you to discounts on a range of goods and services at our partner organisations around the state. Show your membership card and save with our partners! At Yolla Co-Op, we strive to ensure that members feel like they are a part of our community. In order to do this, we hold events throughout the year at each store to celebrate milestones & bring the members & team together.
Our most important annual event is our Annual General Meeting in October where members meet with Directors and Management to review the Co-op’s performance. All members are eligible to nominate to be a Director of the Co-op.

We currently service a 100km radius from Smithton, Wynyard & Latrobe. We also have a rep to service areas around Launceston.
